Silsden finally get league show on road

After eight consecutive home games to start their North West Counties League season, Silsden finally get on the road this evening.
A combination of games being switched due to a fire, a waterlogged pitch and cup-enforced postponements has seen Silsden have to wait two months for their first league trip of the ‘new’ campaign.
They will now be playing catch-up with four away dates scheduled for the next 17 days.
Despite the advantage of playing at the Asda Foundation Stadium so often, the Cobbydalers have failed to take advantage with just two wins and will be hoping for better form when they start their away campaign at Bacup Borough today, 7.45pm.
