Youth round-up – Silsden, Long Lee, Wilsden, Steeton, Sutton, Shammies

There were a few details of junior matches in this week’s Keighley News. Highlights include: SILSDEN u9s hit top form and double figures with a fine 10-0 victory at Thackley Storm on Sunday. Goal of the game came from Toby Cunningham after being set up by star player Jack Muir.
Jack Chapman and Joey van Sullichem scored for SILSDEN REDS in their 3-2 defeat against Thackley Tornadoes.
LONG LEE u12s beat Weston Lane 4-0 thanks to goals from Michael Bailey 2, Scott Robinson and Muqeet Baig.
STEETON u15s maintained their 100% start to the season with a hard-fought 2-1 win at WILSDEN. Oli Coulson and Euan Sessford struck after the hosts had taken an early lead.
SUTTON RASCALS u12s lost 4-2 at Shipley Lions. Matthew Phillips and Ben Clarkson notched the Sutton goals.
Man of the match Ben Cope ensured KEIGHLEY SHAMROCKS u9s started their season with a win. Lewis Plumb’s fine tackle saw the ball break lose for Cope to strike the only goal of the game.
