Chance to get involved off field at Steeton

Steeton are starting to look established at the top level of the West Riding County Amateur League and are now aiming to push on.
To help, they are advertising for additions to their backroom staff.
Manager Roy Mason said: “We are looking to recruit in a couple of areas off the field.
“I am also looking for a match day physio to come with the first team on a game by game basis.”
The position is voluntary but applicants must have all the necessary first aid qualifications. A physiotherapy student or similar looking for practical experience would be ideal.
Also on the wanted list is a kit man and Mason said: “As the club develops we need more personnel on board. Nowadays it’s not just a case of taking a kit, we have warm-up gear, change of kits, subs gear, etc, and we could do with someone taking on this role.”
The Chevrons are also looking for someone to exploit the advertising potential of the go-ahead community club and look at other ways of bringing in more revenue.
Mason said: “Ideally, we need someone with a business background who could bring some new fresh ideas to the committee and help drive the club off the field.
“For example we have advertising space all around the ground that could be sold.
“We would even consider doing a deal with a business for the naming rights on the ground.
“At present we have no one on board who is capable of fully exploiting our potential off the field.”
Anyone interested in any of the three positions available, or wishing to become actively involved with the club, should contact Mason by email for an informal chat –
