Goals, goals, goals needed for Cowling

Cowling need to go for goals tonight if they want to lift the Craven League title.
The side go into their final league match at home to third-placed Rolls, 6.15pm, needing an unlikely 14-goal win to pip Skipton LMS at the post.
They trail Skipton LMS by three points but the reigning champions have already finished their programme.
The May 5 defeat at mid-table Grassington is looking costly for Cowling. Had they managed to win, just a point tonight would have been sufficient.
Hopes of catching up some of the goal difference in their last match against WFC Clitheroe were dashed when they were given a walkover against the Lancashire side. They got three points but no improvement to their goal difference.
Rolls themselves need to beat Cowling and then win at Grassington on Saturday to pip Cowling to runners-up spot.
A draw will be enough for Cowling to confirm second place to LMS for the second season running. Last season they finished three points adrift, but with a better goal difference.
On the face of it, a huge win looks unlikely, the previous two meetings this season have gone 3-1 in Cowling’s favour in the league but 2-1 to Rolls in the Premier Division League Cup.
However, they were both away, so Cowling will be hoping home advantage proves hugely significant.
In Division One, Crosshills’ hopes of lifting the title received a boost with the switching of their penultimate match against Earby tonight to their own ground.
The Earby pitch is unavailable so Crosshills now have home advantage. A win will set up a winner-takes-all last match of the season against current leaders Trawden Celtic on Saturday.
