Steeton programmed for glory

Steeton are celebrating belated championship success.
The West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division side have this week been named as winners of the 2011/12 season programme of the year award.
First-team manager Roy Mason said: “Many congratulations to Martin Crangle and his team for a job well done. We will look to make next season’s publication even better.”
And Crangle thanked Roy Mason, Norman Rhodes, Dave Thomas, Keighley Kicks, Andy Lamb’s and Damo Whiteoak. “Without their help, I would have stopped doing it,” he said, adding with tongue firmly in cheek: “A special big thanks to all those players who thought about contributing…”
You can be part of next season’s attempt to retain the programme award. There are still a limited number of advertising spaces left, as well as 10 player sponsors to be filled.
Advert prices are £100 – full page; £50 – half page. Player sponsorship is £25.
