Cotterill injury sees match abandoned

Only two games beat the wet weather in this morning ‘s Sunday League fixtures.
In the Premier Division of the Bradford Sunday Alliance, Sandy Lane went down to a 4-2 defeat at West Bowling.
Andy Sidowski and Chris Mawson scored for the visitors in an awful game on a soft pitch played in very windy conditions.
The match was called off after 80 minutes following an injury to Sandy Lane striker Stu Cotterill.
He gashed his shin badly but the delay in the ambulance arriving meant the referee abandoned the game with 10 minutes outstanding.
In Division Two of the Wharfedale Triangle League, Bingley FC Young Boys stretched their lead over Cullingworth Youth to seven points but could only manage a 1-1 draw at mid-table Cookridge Hall.
