With a depleted squad of seven, the Dragons visited Dudley Hill.
The opening minutes saw the home team start brightly with some good efforts but, with man of the match Sam Brockbank making some excellent saves and a great goal line clearance from Harry Whitaker, the goal remained intact.
Dudley Hill scored their first after six minutes following good team play from back to front.
The next 20 minutes were exciting end-to-end football, with some great efforts from both teams.
But nothing crossed the goal line until, from a corner, the ball swung in to an unmarked player, who volleyed it home to make it 2-0 at half-time.
The second half saw Silsden come out fighting on what had turned into a very hot day.
Daniel Barnes, Sam Ayik and Whitaker pushed forward tirelessly and a great tackle from Whitaker set Jaylan Camsey away to rifle home Silsden’s first goal.
The home team came back with a more good efforts but the defence of Joshua Elliot and George Ellison stood firm.
Even with the heat and lack of subs, the Dragons never gave up and, with Ayik making another of his runs and cracking the ball in from 10 yards out the game ended 2-2 after a great team effort from both sides in a good and fair result.
