It is West Riding County FA cup week and the action kicks-off this evening with a North West Counties League derby at the Angel Telecom Stadium in the County Cup, 7.45pm.
Silsden will be looking to complete an early season double over their near neighbours, having beaten Barlick 4-0 away in the league last month.
The Cobbydalers are enjoying a solid start to the season, lying fifth in the Premier Division table after winning eight of their 13 games, losing just three times.
Town, by contrast, are just two points outside the relegation zone after losing nine times in their 13 games with only two wins to their credit.
The rest of the county action comes at the weekend with 23 local teams in action. All bar two of the ties sees our teams taking on opposition from elsewhere in the county.
In Keighley derbies, Craven League Premier Division side Cowling face a tough test at home to Oxenhope Rec of the West Yorkshire League in the Challenge Cup, while Sutton make the short trip to Bradley in the Challenge Trophy.
Steeton Reserves have stepped up to the Challenge Cup and travel to West Yorkshire League side Sherburn White Rose, while their first team are at home to Headingley.
Silsden’s new development team head to Aberford Albion and both Salts and Denholme United are on their travels. Cononley Sports and Wilsden Athletic are both at home.
In the Challenge Trophy, there is home action for Broomhill, Denholme Reserves, Ingrow & Worth Valley and both Salts Reserves and their third team. There are away days for Oxenhope Reserves and Silsden White Star.
Sunday action is sparse with only four ties involving Keighley area clubs.
But one of them is a tasty local derby at Marley, where Keighley Athletic take on Bingley FC.
