Snow go for Oxenhope’s county cup hopes

Oxenhope Rec logoOxenhope Rec Reserves were thwarted yet again in their attempt to play their West Riding County FA Trophy third-round tie against Mount St Mary’s today.
Both their ground and their opponents’ were snow bound so they will have to try again next Saturday on fourth round day, even looking at playing on artificial pitches in the Keighley area or at Seacroft.
Next Saturday also sees Oxenhope first team attempt to create club history when they entertain Howden Clough for a place in the quarter-finals of the West Riding County FA County Cup, a stage Oxenhope have never reached before in their 102-year existence.
