All change at Sporting

FC Sporting Keighley logoCraven League side FC Sporting Keighley are going into a new year after a major change of personnel.
Manager Joynal Ali has resigned, along with his assistant Ghufran Hussain. The club thanked them for their contribution to the club over the last three years, during which they led the Marley-based club to a league and cup double, as well as successive promotions to Division Two.
Replacing the pair as joint player-managers until the end of the season are Abid Hussain and Munzir Nazir.
Continuing as part of the coaching staff is Mick vickers, who joined at the start of the season and his knowledge and experience has proved valuable.
Secretary Ghufran Hussain also resigned and he was thanked for the part he played in bringing financial stability to the club with his fund-raising skills.
One familiar face is goalkeeper Abid Hussain. He retired at the start of the season but has already returned to action for “one more season” at the ripe old age of 42.
