Silsden made their Keybury/Calderdale Inter-league bow with a stunning victory.
The game started with some outstanding football by the Dragons.
A smart move saw Harry Whitaker find Jaylan Camsey, who laid the ball on for Lewis Gartland to score the first goal.
Some of the best football the team have played was produced, with great passing, vision and teamwork.
The fruits of all their training clearly showed.
A few long range shots from Whitaker just went over the bar and one was only just saved by the keeper as a spirited and hard working Warley defence kept the Dragons at bay.
In the 17th minute, Joshua Elliot and Lola Cunningham thwarted a Warley attack with Elliot setting Gartland away down the wing. Gartland laid a superb ball on for Camsey who coolly slotted in the second.
A few minutes before half-time saw a corner ball from Gartland flicked on at the front post by Whitaker, which was knocked away only for Sam Ayik to smash it back into the bottom right corner of the net to make it 3-0 at half-time.
The second half saw Warley come out on the attack but they were thwarted by great defensive play by George Ellison and player of the match Cunningham.
Tenminutes into the half Ayik passed to Gartland whose audacious back heel put Silsden 4-0 up.
Within a minute, the Dragons were 5-0 up due to an own goal.
Warley kept their heads high and broke a couple of Silsden tackles to put them two-on-one with the Silsden keeper but Sam Brockbank kept great concentration to make an excellent save.
A great pass from Elliot found Daniel Barnes who pulled off an outstanding long range effort over the goalie and into the net.
Whitaker with a great tackle in midfield won the ball and played a great through ball to Gartland who coolly finished with his hat-trick goal to complete the scoring.
