Craven League Fixtures Announced

The fixtures for the 2015/16 season in the Craven & District League have just been announced.

Opening games of the season see Cross Hills F.C. travel to Settle Utd F.C.  in the Premier Division.

Silsden Whitestar F.C. face Gargrave F.C.

And in Division One.  Cowling F.C. take the trip to F.C. Sporting Keighley. Whilst Bradley F.C. entertain Chatburn F.C.

Respect In Football Is Everything

A lot of our local teams kick off the new 2015/16 season in just over three weeks time.

And even though football is very much a results games. Playing the game with respect for your opponent is also a major factor when playing the wonderful game.

Steeton AFC Kick Off Pre Season With A Win

Steeton AFC kicked off their pre season campaign with a 5-3 win over RIASA goals from Nicky McNally 2, Andy King , Mark McGee and Jack Richmond.

Steeton AFC Gear Up For The New Season

Roy Masons, Steeton AFC team start their pre season games with a friendly against RIASA tomorrow at Summerhill Lane.

The game kicks off at 2pm.

Steeton will be fielding a couple of the new U18 players that have impressed so far in pre season.

RIASA have links with Bradford City and were instrumental in bringing Nakhi Wells to the club. The acadamy is headed up by former Bradford City winger, Mark Ellis.

And with the recent announcement that Keighley Kicks is to have its own weekly football show on Drystone Radio. This will mean that we can bring you even closer to the action. Interviews with managers, players, supporters. And even officials. This means that Keighley Kicks will become a multi media platform for local grassroots football in Keighley and the surrounding areas.
